This Privacy Policy explains how Fort Comfort Gutters LLC, doing business as Fort Comfort Gutters Idaho (“Fort Comfort Gutters Idaho,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a division of Fort Comfort Services, collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit fortcomfortguttersidaho.com (the “Site”), contact us, or use our services. It also explains your privacy rights and how to exercise them.
By using the Site, you agree to this Privacy Policy. This Policy works together with our Terms and Conditions.
This Policy is our complete statement on privacy. It controls over, and supersedes, any shorter privacy statement that appears on an estimate, work order, invoice, form, or other document we issue.
Information you provide to us. When you fill out a form, request an estimate, call, text, or email us, or become a customer, we collect information such as your name, phone number, email address, home or property address, details about your gutters and your project, and anything else you choose to share.
Photos and project materials. We invite you to send photos of your gutters, downspouts, roofline, soffit, fascia, or the area where you are seeing a problem, so we can assess and quote accurately. Any photos, measurements, plans, or other project materials you send become part of the information we hold about your inquiry.
Information we collect automatically. When you use the Site, we and our providers automatically collect information such as your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, links clicked, referring pages, and how you interact with the Site and our ads. We collect this using cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies (see Section 5).
Call information. When you call us or we call you, your call may be tracked and recorded, and we collect information such as the phone number used, the date and time, and the source that led to the call, through third-party call-tracking services.
Information from third parties. We may receive information about you from advertising and analytics providers, lead sources, builders, general contractors, roofers, and property managers who refer work to us, and our affiliated Fort Comfort Services brands.

We do not sell your personal information for money. However, some of our sharing for advertising, and among our affiliated brands, may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal data, or “targeted advertising,” under the privacy laws of states that have them. You can opt out (see Sections 7 and 8).
We use cookies, pixels, tags, device identifiers, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, measure performance, understand how the Site is used, and support advertising. Some of these are set by third parties such as our analytics and advertising providers.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, and where we offer one, through the cookie or privacy-choices control on the Site. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site works.
We use analytics services, including Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it. We use call-tracking services to understand which marketing sources drive calls and to record and review calls for quality and training. These providers process information on our behalf and may set their own cookies or identifiers.
We use personal information, including identifiers and information about your activity on the Site, to show you relevant advertising on other websites, apps, and platforms, and to remarket to people who have visited the Site. We may share identifiers, such as a hashed email address or phone number, with advertising partners such as Google to build and reach audiences. We also share information among our affiliated Fort Comfort Services brands for marketing.
Under the privacy laws of some states, these activities may be considered “targeted advertising” and a “sale” or “sharing” of personal data. Where those laws apply to you, you have the right to opt out. To opt out, use any of the methods in Section 8. We also honor recognized universal opt-out mechanisms, such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC), as a valid opt-out of targeted advertising and the sale or sharing of personal data for the browser or device on which it is enabled.
Idaho has not enacted a comprehensive consumer data privacy law. A number of other states, including California and Colorado, have. Rather than offer different choices depending on where a customer happens to live, we extend the following to everyone who contacts us, whether or not a state law requires it. You may ask us to:

You may also opt out of marketing texts by replying STOP and marketing emails using the unsubscribe link. We honor the Global Privacy Control as described in Section 7.
Authorized agents. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may ask for proof of authorization.
How we respond. We will respond within the time required by law where a law applies, and otherwise generally within 45 days, and we may extend that period once when reasonably necessary. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these choices. Some information may need to be retained to complete your project, honor warranty terms, or meet our legal obligations, as described in Section 9.
Appeals and complaints. If we decline your request, you may appeal by contacting us using the details in Section 13. If your appeal is denied, Idaho residents may contact the Idaho Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division at ag.idaho.gov, and residents of other states may contact the attorney general in their state. Colorado residents may contact the Colorado Attorney General at coag.gov.
We keep personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, provide our services, comply with our legal obligations, honor warranty terms, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Because our workmanship warranty runs for two years from substantial completion and may be transferred to a subsequent owner, we retain project records for at least that period.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affecting Idaho residents occurs, we will provide notice as required by Idaho’s data breach notification law, Idaho Code sections 28-51-104 through 28-51-107, and by the law of any other state that applies.
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
The Site may link to third-party websites and services we do not control, and to the websites of affiliated Fort Comfort Services brands. This Policy does not apply to those sites. Please review the privacy policies of any site you visit.
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
